Police are checking in on Brian Hickerson’s family. Three days after Hayden Panettiere unexpectedly died while in Greenville, S.C., while with Brian and his brother Zach Hickerson, the Greenville Police Department confirmed to People Aug. 19 that officers “responded to a call for a welfare check at a home belonging to Brian Hickerson’s family on Wednesday morning.” The spokesperson also noted, “The call is unrelated to the Hayden Panettiere death investigation and did not require an incident report.” Further details regarding the events of the day of the Heroes alum’s death were revealed in a police report obtained by E! News Aug. 18, which stated that Brian and his brother Zach were at an apartment complex with Hayden when she passed away. The reporting officer noted that Zach was “visibly upset” while medical personnel performed life-saving measures on Hayden, and that Brian did not become emotional until she was officially pronounced dead. 911 audio obtained by TMZ and People indicated that EMS attempted to treat the Ice Princess actress for an apparent overdose as well as cardiac arrest. Hayden’s autopsy confirmed that “no signs of trauma” were observed that would have contributed to her passing.
