Riley Keough is sharing insight into life as a new mom. The “Daisy Jones & the Six” star opened up for the first time about raising her baby girl with husband Ben Smith-Petersen, revealing in a new interview with Vanity Fair published on Tuesday not only the little one’s name, Tupelo Storm Smith-Petersen, but also how it honors both her grandfather, Elvis Presley, and her late brother, Benjamin. Riley, 34, also confirmed that she and Ben welcomed their daughter via surrogate in August 2022 and how they came to the decision due to the actress’ Lyme Disease. “I think it’s a very cool, selfless, and incredible act that these women do to help other people,” she said. “I can carry children, but it felt like the best choice for what I had going on physically with the autoimmune stuff.” And, Riley reflected on the last time she saw mom Lisa Marie Presley after the 2023 Golden Globes, just days before the singer passed away unexpectedly at just 54 years old. “I remember thinking about how beautiful she looked, and that was my strongest memory of the dinner,” Riley said.
