Abiding to COVID-19 protocols, members from each family were required to sit separately throughout the ceremony, which included the Duke of Edinburgh’s widow. In addition, Prince Harry needed to quarantine for five days after traveling from California to the UK. Royal Expert Omid Scobie told ET that Philip helped plan the funeral, and he intended for the ceremony to be a ‘much more private affair.’
